Beach House Bound

I'm so excited for the weekend because I'm going to the beach house!!!!  WHOOHOO!!!  It's gonna be a weekend of sun, surfing, shell hunting, and good eating!!!!

My box is almost pau!!!!  Just gotta put some handles on the sides and slide in one more sheet of plastic!

I'm so lucky to have an awesome boyfriend willing to help me build cool toys!!!  :)

This morning my dad was outside getting his board ready to load on his truck.  He left for the beach house today and I'm up tomorrow!  I'm excited to see him paddling on it! (and maybe he'll let me try it out!)  He was so excited because he got new DaKine stickers to put on the rails.

Filipino Picnic

My friends had a Filipino birthday party at Ala Moana the other day.  We surfed and ate Filipino food!!!!  It was a blast!  My new favorite Filipino food are Nandings!!!!  Soooooo delicious!

Toes on the Nose

I went surfing at Bowls this morning and guess what?!?!?! I WALKED TO THE NOSE ON MY LONGBOARD!!!!! It was only for a couple of seconds but it was a great achievement! And Ryan saw me too! I'm so happy, too bad I don't have photo documentation!! :)

This is my awesome flower power board! I walked all over them this morning! A whole 9 ft! :). Next time I'm gonna hang all ten toes off the nose, hang ten!!!!

Selling my Surfboard

I've had this board for a while, but I think I've got too many, so it's got to go!  :)  Hopefully someone will buy it before Christmas so that I can buy some gifts!!!!

Secret Suicidal Spot

Where do surfer's go to surf big waves and die?  Hahahaha just kidding, this spot's not that dangerous, but it was big yesterday, and Ryan said it was a good idea that I decided to stay on shore.  It was pretty big, not to mention crowded too!  So, while Ryan paddled out, I tried to get some shots of him, but it was so hard because of all the goofballs out there!  It was definitely goofyfoot heaven out there all I saw were goofs and my Ryan is a regular!  But I think I caught him on a few waves....

I'm pretty sure this is my Ryan.  Not the goof on the left, but if you look closely there's another guy getting barreled in front of him on the right!  Ryan said he got barreled close to sunset, I think it's him!  Hard to tell though!

Big and Glassy

I decided not to surf today because I'm surfed out from yesterday!  My muscles are soooooo sore and my body is tired!  I checked out a secret spot today and it was going off!  Winds were super light and it was glassy everywhere!!!!  I wish I could have surfed, but there's no way I would have been able to paddle out!

Surfed Out

Everyone in Hawaii is happy this week, do you know why?  There are waves on the East, the South, the West, and the North shores!!!!  I surfed so much yesterday that I don't think I'm going to surf today...my muscles are so sore!!!!  I don't know though I might be tempted to jump in if the waves look good again!  The wind, tide, and swells are working together to produce epic conditions!!!!

I have no idea who this guy is, but he made for a great photo subject!

 If only this spot weren't so shallow....
