Andy Irons beat Kelly Slater in the semi-finals, and then went on to the final to beat CJ Hobgood!

Also I was watching some longboarding clips on YouTube, and found out that Nalu likes surfing too!!!  :)

Diamond Head was the only spot with decent waves today!  It was so much fun!!!!!  I stoked it out today!  :)

Cardboard Brawl

My friend is getting married, so he wanted to have a get together before his wedding.  The event included a cardboard brawl!  Me and Ryan faced off with our custom cardboard armor and noodle swords!  It was really fun and we battled for five minutes!  The goal was to hit the most targets off your opponent by the end of the five minutes.  Ryan barely won.....just joking, he beat me up!  :)

  

Go Waipio!!!!!

Yesterday the little leaguers from Waipio won the world championship!!!!!  GO HAWAII!!!!  They won by the mercy rule, 10-0, against Texas.  Right now I'm watching them play Japan for the international title!  They score now is 2-1, Japan, top of the 5th.  Hopefully our little boys can pull it off!  It brings me back to my softball days, when my team used to play in the championships!  :)

Statehood Day in Hawaii

On August 21, 1959 Hawaii became the 50th state in America.  So now, we celebrate it every year!  It's always the third Friday in August.  Me and my family and friends picnic'd on Magic Island to celebrate!

Heat waves!  Haha, actially the heat was from our hibachi, but still it was a hot day!
